Volunteer with the SAFE Center

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the SAFE Center! Our volunteers play a critical role in supporting survivors of human trafficking across the Washington D.C./Baltimore metropolitan area. By sharing your time and skills, you can help expand access to safety, stability, and opportunity for survivors.

We are especially seeking volunteers with knowledge of local government and nonprofit resources and programs in Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.

Volunteer Commitment

Depending on each volunteer’s availability, we will work to find a role that best fits your interests and experience. Given the sensitivity of our work, we are looking for volunteers who are interested in more than a one-time or very short engagement.

Some volunteer roles may require a background check depending on assigned responsibilities. Please review our volunteer opportunities below and complete the volunteer application form.

We look forward to working with our community to make a difference in the lives of survivors.
